　　Vienna, 1920. The Austro-Hungarian Empire has collapsed. Peter Perg returns home from the Great War, after seven years as a Russian POW. Vienna is experiencing the multiplicity of political, social and artistic freedom, but also the rise of anti-democratic movements, insecurity and unemployment. Peter, a former police inspector, feels like a stranger in the new Austrian Republic. While wanting to leave town, Peter is confronted with the murder of one of his former comrades. He decides to stay and instead bring the killer to justice. His ally is Dr. Theresa Körner, a determined and cool-headed forensic doctor. The two are linked not only by this case, but also by a deeper, shared history. As their investigation progresses, they realise that they are not just up against a systematic killer, who tortures his victims, but also face disapproval and intrigue from within the police force. Though determined to solve the crime, Peter, harbouring his own secrets, increasingly becomes tormented by existential questions: What is truth? What is heroism in the time of war? And all the while he fails to see the mounting danger before him.

　　“无名氏”、“氏无名”、“名无氏”本是劫富济贫的武林三兄弟，而三弟却贪图功名利禄投靠了官府。一次，官府假借赈灾之名押运一批寿款，无名二兄弟与镖师杨雄、荷花五妹联手，识破了官府诡计，治服了三弟，将钱款归还民众。无名二兄弟与荷花五妹结为新的无名三侠客。

　　故事发生在墨西哥城的一个中产阶级社区“罗马”，讲述年轻女佣克里奥（雅利扎·阿巴里西奥饰）在雇主索菲亚（玛丽娜·德·塔维拉饰）家中工作，该家中索菲亚的丈夫长期在外，由女佣克里奥照顾索菲的四个孩子。突如其来的两个意外，同时砸中了女佣克里奥和雇主索菲亚，两人究竟该如何面对苦涩茫然的生活？四位孩子似乎是希望所在。 这是以导演阿方索·卡隆的儿时记忆铸成的影片，而卡隆其实就是片中某一位小孩。

由美国帕洛玛影片公司出品，导演悉尼．波拉克。三十年代初，正值美国经济大萧条时期，洛基为好莱坞举办百对舞蹈选手马拉松大赛，在这些选手中，每个人的目的不同，有的为了赚钱，有的为了能上电影，有的则感到无聊才来参赛。几个星期过去了，几对主要竞争者都遇到了不同的意外问题…… 　　影片以写实的手法，通过反映各色人物的心理，表现出美国社会存在的矛盾。纵观整个影片，情节安排、技巧处理、演员的表演都算是出色的，曾获第42届（1969）最佳导演等9项提名，结果只获得最佳男配角1项金像奖。

毕然因童年的一场意外车祸失去了父母及右腿，18岁时他加入了残疾人马术队，然而，在马术大赛即将开幕出场表演时却再次遭遇意外情况，不甘命运捉弄的毕然一人一马勇闯马场，开启了一段热血圆梦守护心中之爱的故事。

　　三名警察在送三名判刑的犯人入狱前被抢走警枪及杀掉。三名犯人偷车逃到一小镇的酒吧，怎料酒吧原来的非法建筑，根本没有后门，于是三个亡命之徒只好挟持酒吧中的人做人质，向警方索取逃出生命的机会。

　　Coming as it does from the depths of the Stalinist regime, the Russian Road to Life is a remarkably optimistic film. A host of nonprofessional children are cast as Moscow street kids, left homeless by the Bolshevik revolution. They get into all sorts of melodramatic scrapes until they're rounded up by kindly, altruistic Soviet functionaries. The children are reformed (in the nicest possible way) and made useful members of society. Road to Life is simplistic in its solutions to society's problems, albeit no more so than the usual Hollywood product from the same period.

　　Ruth is searching for her father – a man she hardly knew but cannot forget. Desperation drives her to work without a permit, at a massage parlour, where she gives ‘happy endings’ to unfulfilled men. Torn between several schisms, Mumbai becomes the backdrop for Ruth's quest as she struggles to find her independence and space even as she is sucked deeper into the labyrinthine politics of the city's underbelly.

　　靖國神社太鼓之音穿越花街，在妓院的和室間迴盪。戰後孤兒小圓修練聲色藝，殷勤接待各式各樣的恩客：儒雅建築師、耿直壽司師傅，少不了也有猥瑣老頭；安身立命，當上建築師妾侍亦甘之如飴。男人在身邊離離去去，她的身與心彷彿也逐漸得到解放，發現不曾認識的自己。首個鏡頭已先聲奪人，川島雄三以切割構圖、顛覆鏡頭及黑色幽默，為日本戰後的頹敗社會顯影，亦為女性雕琢出自主輪廓。若尾文子綻放艷麗無垢的光芒，三十五襲華衣美服目不暇給，細膩演繹「那個她」到「這個我」的微妙蛻變；最後獨自佇望登山索道，竟散發點點安東尼奧尼鏡頭下蒙妮卡維蒂的味道。 （香港夏日電影節）
