清末，太监总管李莲英授意义和团内神打、茅山、术士三坛清除叛徒二舵主雷公（刘家良 饰）。神打坛方少卿（惠英红 饰）与师叔（刘家辉 饰），茅山坛雷勇（刘家荣 饰），术士坛铁猴（小侯 饰）、铁坛主（朱铁和 饰）分头南下广州，寻觅雷公下落。 　　当年雷公掌管云南分舵，因不愿见弟子凭 借所谓“神打”功夫抵抗洋人军火徒然丧命，不惜违背朝廷旨意，将义和团云南分舵解散，化名雨伯隐居乡间。三坛之追杀人马皆有争功之心，暗斗不止。雷勇更用无赖（傅声 饰）乔装雷公以引出真身。方少卿与铁猴先后为雷公大义感动转变阵营，但三坛坛主仍欲置雷公与死地。
