开出租车的大龄青年高天扬阴差阳错的拉着在婚礼现场临阵脱逃的任鹭踏上了去往理想中的乌托邦——99号公路的旅途。两人经过种种磨难，终于到达目的地。这时，两人发现之间情愫越积越多，最终，两人排除万难，有情人终成眷属。

　　故事讲述了小男孩乔什·普利姆跟随父母举家搬进大城市的新居，和一只住在阁楼上、能舞会唱的鳄鱼成为好朋友的奇遇故事。自带欢乐属性的鳄鱼莱莱治愈了难以适应新环境的乔什，乔什也努力消除父母对莱莱的偏见。两小只开启前所未有的都市历险，历经重重欢乐闹剧，莱莱与普利姆一家最终成为了彼此的家人与伙伴。

　　文森特（洛朗·拉菲 Laurent Lafitte 饰）和弗洛伦斯（玛琳娜·佛伊丝 Marina Foïs 饰）终于排除万难结束了他们的婚姻，如今，两人临街而居，和他们各自的新伴侣伯纳黛特（萨拉·吉罗多 Sara Giraudeau 饰）以及爱德华（乔纳森·科恩 Jonathan Cohen 饰）展开了全新的生活。
　　然而，随着时间的推移，伯纳黛特和爱德华都展现出了让文森特和弗洛伦斯无法接受的一面，而对此状况格外敏感的孩子们决定抓住这次机会，让父亲和母亲破镜重圆。孩子们的计划引发了一连串的麻烦和笑料，也让文森特和弗洛伦斯感到十分伤脑筋，于是，他们决定假装复合，再故意将生活弄的一团糟，以展示两人的结合是多么错误的决定。

　　A quick glimpse at the cast for this film would make any horror fan giddy with glee. The actual movie doesn't live up to those high expectations, but it's far from being all bad. Desi Arnaz Jr. (!) plays an author who makes a crazy $20,000 bet with his publisher that he could write a great novel in only 24 hours. To do so, the publisher gives him the keys to an old abandoned house where he won't be disturbed. Not true. Once he gets there he is interrupted by a multitude of guests including a family which consists of John Carradine, Sheila Keith, Peter Cushing and Vincent Price. They are gathered there in a twisted family reunion to release their brother from the room he's been imprisoned in for forty years. Even Christopher Lee drops by as Corrigan, the man who has just purchased the house. Soon, they realize that the caged brother is loose and out for revenge.
　　What a great plotline and what a dream cast! This movie should have been a hell of a lot better. It's hard to pinpoint the exact problems with the film, but I would venture to say that the lack of lighting was a major fault. Sure the house has no electricity but I think they took the title of the movie a little too literally. Scenes after scenes are barely visible and the actors' faces are undecipherable. Only the moments in the main dinning hall are well lit. Also, the great actors are given very little to do. Cushing gets a few chuckles as the scared brother but Price, Lee and especially Carradine are somewhat wasted here. Well, at least Price gets the best line of the film: `Please don't interrupt me while I am soliloquizing.' And on the plus side, the story has enough twists and turns throughout to keep one`s interest and the ending, while a bit of a cop-out, manages to surprise.

　　大陆青年左颂星（周星驰）到港投靠三叔（吴孟达），嗜赌的三叔发现他有特异功能后，以为找到发家致富的康庄大道，开始带他出入各大赌场，并要他以赌神为偶像，将赌技再发扬光大成为新一代赌圣。
　　风头正劲的左颂星引起台湾赌王陈松与香港赌王洪光（秦沛）的注意，双方均欲夺左颂星为其手下代表其出席世界赌王大赛。陈松成功将左颂星罗至门下后，洪光派来美女绮梦（张敏）将左颂星迷得晕头转向，又在大赛决赛时刻令绮梦消失，以期左颂星无心应战将赌王宝座拱手相让。

刘雅历（林子祥 饰）是一名广告公司高层，但感情生活并不如意——女友碧姬（关之琳 饰）与他分手了。本来就沉默寡言的雅历更加孤寂伤痛了，生活依旧刻板平凡。 　　后来他在一个合唱团里认识了一位极有天分的女孩巫慧敏（周慧敏 饰），本来打算对她多加照顾培训，却遭到慧敏母亲朱丽娥（郑裕玲 饰）的不满，以为雅历对自己年轻的女儿动了歪念，两人也因此成为了斗气冤家。 　　经多次的交往之后，朱丽娥才发现自己误会了雅历，便对他完全改观了，有困难的时候丽娥也主动找雅历帮忙。丽娥本来就是个离婚妇人，遇到了同样感情空虚的雅历，两人之间很快便滋长了爱情。这时，雅历的前女友碧姬却回来要求复合……

　　本片男主角瑞凡费尼克斯，21岁时就获得威尼斯影帝宝座，但却不幸在1993年10月，因吸毒过量意外猝逝，喜欢他的观众不要错过了本片！ 四位志同道合的乡村乐手，为了实现自我的梦想，前往乡村音乐之都，开创音乐事业。而就在这创业期间，他们却因彼此间的勾心斗角，使得关系变得复杂万分，并也与原本的计划脱节。 虽然，对他们而言，在音乐上的成就，就像爱情一般，是件兴奋但却无所预知的事，但他们深信，只要坚守自己的梦想，美梦终将会成真！
