　　一次偶然中，艾瑞（歌蒂·韩 Goldie Hawn 饰） 邂逅了名叫杰克（约翰·赫德 John Heard 饰）的男子，杰克是一间博物馆的文物馆长，随着时间的推移，两人很快就走到了一起。不久之后，可爱的小女儿玛丽（艾什丽·佩顿 Ashley Peldon 饰）降生了，艾瑞觉得此时此刻就是自己一生中最幸福的时光。
　　然而，厄运很快就降临到了这个家庭的头上。先是博物馆的一名研究员离奇死亡，之后杰克又被卷入了文物造假的事件之中，而艾瑞亦开始渐渐察觉丈夫撒下的各种谎言，开始怀疑他是否对自己不忠。而当杰克在一场车祸中不幸丧生后，为其操办后事的艾瑞更是震惊的发现，这个每一天都睡在自己身边的男人，竟然连名字都是假的。

　　影片是一部围绕约会匹配软件展开的原创悬疑片，恋爱方面晚熟的婚礼策划人轮花（土屋太凤 饰）被同事推荐了配对APP，虽然和一位男士匹配成功，但是出现在约会中的他却和照片完全不一样。与此同时，发生了针对APP用户的连环杀人事件，事件朝着意料之外的方向发展，魔爪也渐渐逼近了轮花...佐久间大介饰演与主人公·轮花相遇，纠缠不休的跟踪狂·永山吐梦。

　　某个下雨的日子，经营宠物医院的张文浩（李善均 饰）带着还有一个月就要与之共赴婚姻殿堂的姜善瑛（金敏喜 饰）前往老家看望父母。途中文浩下车购物，而善瑛在接了一通电话之后便从男友身边神秘失踪。焦急的文浩四处寻找，结果却发现一桩桩令他难以置信的事实。善瑛曾于2007年债台高筑宣布破产，而当年的照片与他失踪的未婚妻竟完全是两个人。这个失踪的女人真身为何？她的背后又隐藏怎样的秘密和故事呢？
　　本片根据日本作家宫部美雪的同名原著改编，“火车”来自佛教用语，指载着作恶亡灵前往地狱的冒火的车子。《观无量寿经》云：“人以恶应堕恶道，命欲终时，地狱众火俱至，必有火车来迎。”

　　一名父亲（乔什·哈奈特 Josh Hartnett 饰）陪同青少年女儿（阿里尔·多诺霍 Ariel Donoghue 饰）参加一场流行音乐演唱会，他们后来发现自己正处于一场黑暗邪恶的活动中。

　　1999年，澳洲布鲁姆。澳洲男青年班恩（内森·菲利普斯 Nathan Phillips 饰）与两名英国女孩克莉斯（凯斯蒂·莫拉希 Kestie Morassi 饰）和莉兹（卡桑德拉·玛格拉斯 Cassandra Magrath 饰）驱车前往狼溪国家公园游玩。经过两天的旅程，汽车穿过荒凉的澳洲无人区终于到达了目的地。巨大的陨石坑带给三人的喜悦转瞬即逝，当三人想驾车返回时却发现汽车抛锚。深夜，一位好心人麦克（ John Jarratt 饰）出现，并答应带他们回自己的营地并且免费帮他们修车。麦克把三个年青人带到一座废弃的矿场里，三个在麦克爽朗的笑声里很快睡着了。莉兹醒来后，发现自己被关在一间仓库里，并且手脚都被绑了起来。莉兹挣脱绳索企图逃跑之时隔壁的房间里传来克利斯痛苦的叫喊声，克利斯正在遭受“好心人”麦克的虐待。此时班恩不知去往，莉兹必须设法救出克利斯。在澳洲中部远离人烟的矿场，三个年青人的美妙旅程竟然变成恐怖的梦魇……

A series of events, apparently casual, lead Silvia Monteferrante to suspect that there was something else behind the accidental death of her ex-husband.

　　青春靓丽的女子莫丽·哈特莉（莎拉·林德 Sarah Lind 饰）和朋友们在一家舞厅庆祝她的24岁生日，当晚她似乎受到什么神秘力量的蛊惑，整个人变得有些神志不清，无法左右自己的言行。次日一早，两名警察上门，结果在莫丽的浴室里发现两具尸体。在此之后，莫丽被诊断精神上有问题而关进了精神病院。病院的治疗并没有任何好转，莫丽的异状反而愈演愈烈。种种异象，让担任主治医师的女性开始相信这个女孩的确被恶魔附体。与此同时，病院内还住着前牧师约翰·巴罗（戴文·萨瓦 Devon Sawa 饰），他当初经历了一次刻骨铭心的失败驱魔仪式，此刻更被教廷剥夺了神父身份。
　　医院内神秘可怕的事情愈演愈烈，约翰不得不迎接魔鬼的挑战……

　　Stuart Gordon, considered a master of the horror genre thanks to classics like Re-Animator and Dagon, decides to do a different move in this strange trip to human morals.
　　
　　"King of the Ants" is about a regular guy, Sean Crawley(newcomer Chris McKenna), a man without any aspiration who just live in his apartment doing the necessary job to live to the next day. In one of his jobs he meets Duke(Gearge Wendt), who introduces Sean to his boss, Ray Matthews(played by Daniel Baldwin). Ray hires Sean as a spy, and orders him to follow Eric Gatlin(Roy Livingstone), an accountant who has been investigating Ray's company. Problems start when Ray, while drunk, orders Sean to kill Eric. And he does it. Things go wrong when Ray decides to make Sean disappear destroying his mind with violent punishment and humiliation.
　　
　　From the point where Sean kills Eric, we go in the same boat with him, as he goes through a downward spiral of human degradation, traveling from guilt, to confusion and finally to his rebirth, in a state where humanity, morals and values are not important anymore. Chris McKenna acting is very important because he manages to be likable even when he is part of gruesome acts, both as victim and/or criminal. He has that look of innocence that hides a dark side and he manages to carry the film.
　　
　　The support cast also includes Kari Wuhrer, as Eric's widow who also becomes a central part of Sean's trip to hell. She gives a fine performance, although it's obvious that Sean is the main character. He is the most developed of all and McKenna's performance is up to the challenge.
　　
　　The film has very disturbing images of violence, and while it may not be as graphic as "Kill Bill" for example, the strength of the violence is in the lack of humanity that the character manifest. He is more than an ant in this world. He is the king.
　　
　　Stuart Gordon has managed to create a film that, while maybe it's not one of his best efforts it's very well done, has a VERY interesting story to tell, and manages to capture the attention every second of it.

Since his father found a mysterious package and heard the eerie sounds of an indigenous tribe, ARDI and his family have experienced strange events. Ardi and his younger sister, SYIFA, believe this is the result of a santet (a deadly curse), and they will be the next victims. It is a high-level curse from outside the land of Java, known as Santet Segoro Pitu .
