　　讲的是大学生李焰到社区实习，有一社区帮教对象是一个穿着怪异，因盗窃罪刚走出监狱的十七八岁的女孩，她的父母离婚了，爸爸经常醉酒且经常打她。李焰和她接触后把她当朋友看待，帮助她找事做，并赢得雇主的信任，雇主还教她学会做家务。她再次遭到父亲的打骂后不敢回家，李焰把她留在办公室过夜，结果李焰的同事的钱丢了，怀疑是她偷的，她又一次被拘留。李焰一方面和她的父母沟通，另一方面帮她找到了钱不是她偷的证据，原来她身上的钱是卖盗版光碟赚来的，同事的钱也是放错了位置找到了，李焰把她带到大学校园里投篮，并告诉她自己的追求，鼓励她生活应该有目标，在追求目标的同时你会感觉生活很充实。后来李焰在工作中碰到了困难要退却时，换掉怪异发型的她反过来用李焰以前说过的话鼓励她，在李焰和同事的努力下问题得到很好的解决。她也得到了父母的关爱，找到了工作，李焰也最终留在社区工作。

　　当32岁的Rain（William Tjokro饰）回忆往事时，他发现故事的开端是神秘的Kris（Natalius Chendana饰）挺身而出使他免受高中里的小混混欺负的那天。强势的Kris主导着他与Rain的友情，他在Rain家中过夜，要求他与其他朋友绝交，但是他自己却每晚带着不同的女友出现。身为同性恋的Rain实在无法理解Kris的行径，而之后Kris的突然消失更是让他陷入绝望。最终，他还是熬过了那段时间，并在前往曼谷的旅途中，经历了一系列艳遇。许多年后，他再次收到Kris的邀请，Kris已经结婚并定居巴厘岛，他为何会期盼重聚？
　　本片是导演Andri Cung的长片处女作，他试图讲述人们能够从经历中获取的不同生活方式，当然也包括人们为了避免陷入万劫不复而付出的努力。除却伤感的旁白与几个戏剧化的封闭场景之外，影片的绝大部分时间都流露出尖锐、热烈且真诚的情感，其表演也十分妥贴。沉稳的三幕式结构与精良的视听语言都为影片加分不少，而在此之下亦暗藏诱惑与情感张力。
