　　本片讲述了四海龙王因定海神针被夺，而与孙悟空大战一场后，西海龙王伤势不愈而亡。如来将孙悟空压在了五指山下作为惩处。而西海龙王的三太子小白龙熬烈，在苦苦等待了500年之后，终于迎来在取经必经之地：盘龙山，手刃孙悟空的机会。盘龙山修炼千年的狐妖通过妖灵本体，不断掠夺人类的肉体来永葆美丽。其小妖抢走了盘龙镇的美女念慈，却巧被三太子施手所救。念慈因此对三太子心生情愫。而对三太子怀恨在心的狐妖，亦在初次击杀三太子的行动中，贪婪三太子的容貌而怦然心动。三太子与狐妖、孙悟空的相继厮杀中，念慈一直陪伴照料着。日久生情的三太子也明白了念慈就是他复仇的羁绊，因而以和狐妖结盟的方式逼走了念慈。自己沉于执念的种种所为，最终亲手害死了念慈。而如来500年前点悟小白龙的话，如今却正是历历在目，小白龙最终悔过开悟，自我救赎的故事。
