　　Genuine but increasingly insecure Pete is cautiously excited about reuniting with his college crew for a birthday weekend of memories, partying and earnest reconnection at a picturesque English manor.

　　原来，三人的共同点在于都献过血，而他们的血液被用于了抢救一对殉情的男女。结果是，男方从幸运地被从死亡线上拉了回来，女方却不幸地踏入了鬼门关。女子名叫燕屏（梁敏德 饰），孤身一人来到地府的她感到十分痛苦，竟将所有的过错都怪到了阿乐、诗敏和阿力所献的血液头上。燕屏伺机接近三人，她要好好地报一报他们的“救命之恩”。面对穷凶极恶的厉鬼，三人能否死里逃生？

　　The film begins with the title Chorokbam filling the screen, which is amazing to see. This is the very moment at which the audience decides to trust this film without hesitation. In terms of how to fill and empty the square frame, the film is bold and skillful. Chorok, meaning green in English, is the color of fate in this movie. The problems of all the family members a hopeless father who works as a night guard, a mother who is completely exhausted with house works, a poor son who works for the disabled and their funeral ceremony are all dominated by the color, green. It is not bright or fancy but dark and scary in some sense. With attractive images and scenes, the film develops a series of worldly episodes of a family up to the level of poetic sentiment of blues and depression. (JUNG Hanseok)

　　Stuart Gordon, considered a master of the horror genre thanks to classics like Re-Animator and Dagon, decides to do a different move in this strange trip to human morals.
　　
　　"King of the Ants" is about a regular guy, Sean Crawley(newcomer Chris McKenna), a man without any aspiration who just live in his apartment doing the necessary job to live to the next day. In one of his jobs he meets Duke(Gearge Wendt), who introduces Sean to his boss, Ray Matthews(played by Daniel Baldwin). Ray hires Sean as a spy, and orders him to follow Eric Gatlin(Roy Livingstone), an accountant who has been investigating Ray's company. Problems start when Ray, while drunk, orders Sean to kill Eric. And he does it. Things go wrong when Ray decides to make Sean disappear destroying his mind with violent punishment and humiliation.
　　
　　From the point where Sean kills Eric, we go in the same boat with him, as he goes through a downward spiral of human degradation, traveling from guilt, to confusion and finally to his rebirth, in a state where humanity, morals and values are not important anymore. Chris McKenna acting is very important because he manages to be likable even when he is part of gruesome acts, both as victim and/or criminal. He has that look of innocence that hides a dark side and he manages to carry the film.
　　
　　The support cast also includes Kari Wuhrer, as Eric's widow who also becomes a central part of Sean's trip to hell. She gives a fine performance, although it's obvious that Sean is the main character. He is the most developed of all and McKenna's performance is up to the challenge.
　　
　　The film has very disturbing images of violence, and while it may not be as graphic as "Kill Bill" for example, the strength of the violence is in the lack of humanity that the character manifest. He is more than an ant in this world. He is the king.
　　
　　Stuart Gordon has managed to create a film that, while maybe it's not one of his best efforts it's very well done, has a VERY interesting story to tell, and manages to capture the attention every second of it.

彼得因故被罰而配戴電子腳鐐，只能待在家過著不自由的生活。某日在阿富汗服兵役的弟弟艾力克斯突然出現，為他平淡的生活引起了變化。受不了彼得戒酒後的乏味，艾力克斯偷偷網購酒精還順便幫哥哥找了妓女。瘋狂的一夜過去，彼得起床應門，得知警方在調查附近區域的失蹤女孩，但弟弟卻刻意閃避門前的警察，事情似乎有些不對勁。

陈薇（尹馨 饰）带着女儿（林采洁 饰）为躲避家暴的丈夫住进有自杀胜地之称的蝴蝶大厦后怪事频传。管理员梁伯（冯淬帆 饰）和顶楼的庙公山叔（蔡振南 饰）不断提醒她这一层楼不太干净，如果有能力还是尽快搬走，但是经济拮据的她暂时只能栖身于此。各种三教九流的邻居、杂货铺有阴阳眼的自闭症男孩阿弟（白润音 饰），还有那间被再三交代禁止靠近的613号房，一切都令陈薇感到诡异莫名。外表阳光的代班管理员小梁（曹佑宁 饰）对独立坚强的陈薇照顾有加，经常借故上门帮忙维修家电，陈薇女儿看到他来也会难得露出微笑。正值鬼门开时，蝴蝶大厦内意外频传，甚至发生许多灵异事件，但老住户们似乎已经习以为常。陈薇原本是想带女儿逃离丈夫，不料却将自己卷入更大危机之中...

　　经轰动影坛的恐怖力作creepshow系列在时隔20年后，终于推出了第三部。此次依然是由“僵尸之父”乔治·罗梅罗与“恐怖大师”史蒂芬·金担当编导工作，力图重振此系列的辉煌票房。本片一共讲述了五个故事：Professor Dayton、Alice、Rachel the Call Girl、The Radio和The Haunted Dog。 这五个故事看似都是独立的小故事，但剧情上却都紧紧地联系在一起。Alice（爱丽斯）:狂傲的女孩爱丽斯被一个神秘的遥控器所操纵，不停地穿梭于各个平行的空间。可怕的是，当她的空间每变换一次，身体的一个部位就会腐烂……The Radio（收音机）：生活拖沓的保安员杰瑞无意中买了一个神奇的收音机，它能预知一个人的未来行动，但这种功能却给他的生活带来了极大的灾难……Call Girl（电话女孩）：爱娃是一个杀人成瘾的性感女郎，在一次例行“服务”时顺便杀死了一个男人，但她不知道，这个男人有着邪恶的一面……The Professor's Wife（教授的妻子）：两个年轻人在拜访博士时恶意地将他美丽的妻子打昏残忍的将其肢解……Haunted Dog（闹鬼的狗）：傲慢自大、磕药成性的威尔医生将一个乞丐戏弄致死，但他没想到乞丐化为了阴魂，一直尾随着医生，扰乱了他的“正常”生活……"
