本作以星际旅行的科幻背景，讲述能够使用「以太齿轮」操纵重力的少年「四季」、没什么人气的实况主「蕾贝卡」，以及机械蓝猫「哈比」。他们将乘坐战列舰「EDNES ZERO」四处冒险，寻找能够实现一切愿望的神秘生命体「MOTHER」。
The world of Remnant is filled with horrific monsters bent on the destruction of humanity. Fortunately, the kingdoms of the world have risen to combat these forces by training powerful Huntsmen and Huntresses at academies around the planet. Ruby Rose, Weiss Schnee, Blake Belladonna, and Yang Xiao Long are four such Huntresses in training whose journeys will take them far past the grounds of Beacon Academy.
