一對生活極有品味的夫婦邀來三五好友，男主人戴夫打算大顯身手，為大家準備一場精緻的晚宴。隨著夜幕降臨，怪事開始發生。不速之客一個接著一個出現，一位電工自稱是安妮的朋友登門而來，可是隨後到來的安妮並不認識這位電工。還有一名自稱哲學教授的法國人也不請自來，浪漫的法國口音讓女客們為之傾倒，貝絲、安妮都莫名跟他上了床，怎料完事之後，法國口音不見了，這讓安妮頓感受騙。哲學教授反指安妮所屬的非營利組織「無國界瑜珈士」，戰亂之下的人民最不需要的就是瑜珈！當派對陷入暴力、離奇的性行為和荒謬的境地時，安妮在浴室發現了一具屍體，眾人開始懷疑他媽的烤箱裡到底是什麼肉……

　　本片根据亚洲恐怖漫画《阴阳棺》改编，讲述了民国年间被世人俗称为的“阴阳棺”突然现世，相传这口神秘的棺材一旦出现就会有恐怖的事情发生。
　　据《民国时报》记载，民国34年（1945国民党统治时期），曾发生一起灵异的小孩失踪事件，一群在后山上玩捉迷藏的小孩突然有一个神秘失踪。从那以后，每当打雷时总会看到一个小孩的身影在后山破庙的屋顶上徘徊，离奇的事情接连发生..究竟是消失的小孩“怨灵”回来复仇，还是传说中的“阴阳棺”在作怪？

　　In 1857, child murderer Andries Martiens, is sent into a mine as a punishment for his crimes. His punishment? He must detect dangerous methane leaks by setting them off...personally.
　　On a ride home from a club, Kristel Lodema confronts tragedy with the sudden death of her father in a freak car accident. In a attempt to learn more about her recently deceased father she travels to Belgium with a group of friends, to pick up her father's last manuscript. Coincidentally, her father used to work in the same mine that Andries Martiens was executed in.
　　The new tour guide convinces Kristel and her friends to go into the mine for a guided tour. A tour which unleashes a great evil and ends with many, many, grisly murders....including plenty decapitations! Slaughter Night is (as the name suggests) a slasher flick. In all honesty, the film is kinda like a combination of The Descent, and the original Evil Dead....although Slaughter Night isn't as good a film as either of those Horror classics. This is not to say the film is bad, but it's just not anything all that special.
　　The performances themselves aren't bad, the direction is good. The editing needs some work as many scenes set up without proper introduction, and the killer seems to pop out in too many different areas, far too quickly than is humanly possible. If you can set your brain on vacation, you might come out liking this film.
　　That being said, let's make this really simple.
　　If your a fan of trashy horror films, and love watching stupid teens get sliced and diced. You'll love this movie. SL8N8 features some of the most gruesome deaths i've seen on film in recent memory. Boat loads of gore, with little or no hard substance. And if that's your stuff, then don't hesitate and pick this film up! If your looking for a good, solid horror film with character development and a strong plot with strong performances, go watch The Descent or something comparable. Because SL8N8 is NOT a Horror masterpiece by any stretch of the imagination. It's just a fun Slasher Flick with more than it's share of brutal violence.
　　**I do wish to caution those who might be upset by violence involving young children, because Slaughter Night features a few scenes of grisly violence involving children.** But if you can get past that, check this movie out. it's just a really fun, gory horror film from the Netherlands.

　　美国芝加哥的午夜，杀人犯雷在警探迈克（克里斯·萨兰登 Chris Sarandon ）的追捕中身负枪伤，仓皇逃入了一家玩具店，走投无路下，雷念起咒语，将灵魂转移到了一个玩具公仔身上。在商场做售货员的单身母亲凯伦（凯瑟琳·海克丝 Catherine Hicks 饰）为儿子安迪（艾力克斯·文森特 Alex Vincent 饰）的生日礼物发愁，当她看到流浪汉出售的便宜公仔时，兴冲冲的买下了。而这个安迪渴望的礼物，实际正是那只收纳了杀人犯雷的灵魂的公仔。自称“楚其”的公仔在无人时便开口和安迪对话，并杀死了安迪的阿姨和自己昔日的同伙，安迪目睹公仔杀人的线索，却苦于无人相信。凯伦不久终于发现了公仔的秘密，但似乎为时已晚……

　　失恋的郑嘉文（舒淇 饰）在泰国自杀未遂，捡回了性命。回到香港后，她准备忘记过去重新开始，却发现自己怀孕了，经过深思熟虑，她决定把孩子生下来。
　　一天，在地铁站，嘉文目睹一个女子跳轨道自杀，周围的人却什么也没有看见，警方调查也一无所获，嘉文自己也百思不得其解。而从那以后，怪事接二连三地发生在她身上。
　　嘉文在的士里与没有脸的厉鬼同坐，在公交车站等车碰到跳楼自杀的母子，她甚至看见同在医院待产的周太太，身边也有鬼魂如影随形。
　　嘉文惊恐之余，认定这一切和地铁里自杀的女子有关，为了孩子，她开始调查事情的真相……

Deserves recognition as an interesting misunderstanding of the hallucination generation, 20 January 2007 Author: TimothyFarrell from Worcester, MA "Wild in the Streets" comes from the same school of film making that spawned other attempts to connect to the counterculture such as "Skidoo" and "Candy". The difference between this and the aforementioned films is that "Wild in the Streets" is reasonably clever and well-made. It isn't sympathetic to the counterculture and will likely offend those with fond memories of the time. Surprisingly, it was a big hit when released and appealed to the youth whom it ridiculed so much. Unlike "The Trip" and "Psych-Out" (two other AIP films), its not an accurate representation of the movement at all. However it does work as social satire. The direction by Barry Shear is good and makes innovative use of split screen photography. Plus, he keeps everything moving at a quick pace. In its funny moments, the film works well. In its attempts at drama, its helplessly dated and just as funny as the humorous moments. Christopher Jones underplays his role and Shelly Winters overacts. Hal Holbrook offers the best performance and Diane Varsi achieves the right note of "grooviness". The script by Robert Thom has its moments, especially the ending (easily the most ingenious part of the film). "Wild in the Streets" isn't perfect, but deserves recognition as an interesting misunderstanding of the hallucination generation. Those into this kind of kitsch will enjoy it the most. I'd rather watch "The Trip" or "Psych-Out" however. (6/10) -from imdb
